Deploy Applications to EVE-OS Virtual Machines on Apple M1 devices

  • UTM Version 4.0.7 (66)
  • EVE-OS version 8.12.0 ARM64

Virtual Machine (VM) Support

Apple does not support exposing the CPU virtualization flag to virtual machines. This means you won’t be able to run Virtual Machines in your guest EVE-OS VM. When deploying a VM Edge Application to your M1 EVE-OS VM, you will see an error similar to this:

Container Support

Tested and validated that containers deploy to EVE-OS. No known issues.
