New in ZEDEDA Release 10.4.0
New feature: Configuration Lock
Configuration Lock gives you greater control over the configurations of your edge nodes. In the "Basic Info" tab of an edge node's details page, you can now lock that node out of automatic configuration updates. When configuration updates are automatically sent to your fleet of edge nodes, your locked nodes will not receive those updates. Instead, the updates will be queued for each locked node and will automatically apply when you remove the lock.
You can manually push specific configuration updates to a locked node using the ZEDEDA API. Through the API, you can also see the "latest device configuration", which lists all updates that are queued but not applied.
The following automatic updates will bypass a lock:
- device reboot
- activation or deactivation of edge-view
