Install EVE-OS

This guide describes how to install an EVE image onto an edge device. For more information on EVE images, see our guide to EVE-OS images.

You can install directly on physical hardware (i.e., EVE-OS can run on bare metal) or you deployed in a virtual environment (i.e., EVE-OS can run inside of a virtual machine).

When you're finished, you're edge device will be ready to onboard to your ZEDEDA Cloud enterprise as an edge node.

Prerequisites

You'll need a bootable, portable drive with EVE-OS flashed onto it. If you don't have one, please begin with our guide to getting an EVE-OS image.

You'll need physical access to your edge node.
