What's new (User Facing)?

Support for Staggered Start–Starting with ZedControl Release 8.5.0 introduces a delay between the time EVE-OS is ready to process application instance configurations and the time the application is started.

Support for GPS location from the Cellular Module–Starting with ZedControl Release 8.5.0, geolocation information from cellular modules is supported. If both cellular-based geolocation and IP-based geolocation information are present, cellular-based geolocation coordinates take priority.
Look at [Onboard (Create) Edge Node and Networks].
 
Support for Prepared Poweroff Feature–Starting with ZedControl Release 8.5.0, the 'Prepared Poweroff' feature is supported. This feature is useful when you need to gracefully shut down the set of applications running on EVE-OS.
